Some things that i have been doing is i've shadowed our BVHS athletic trainer. That experience has changed my whole look on medicine. While meeting with her I have gotten to experience different methods of different kinds of tapings and wraps and techniques that Caitlyn has that are special to her. I have gotten to practice taping ankles and thumbs very intently and she is right there to show me good or bad techniques. She has also helped me a lot with what i am going to do in college. Right now i am enrolled at UW- Whitewater. But if i want to actually go into athletic training and major in that. We looked and Whitewater does not have Athletic Training as a major, but we found other things that could lead me into that direction. We have talked about her experience with being the athletic trainer for different schools and teams which has been really helpful. Now i know that i will have very little time for things other than focusing on this which honestly is nice to know now rather then figure it out later. I love being involved in football game taping because that is way more hands on then practices are. It is nice to be trusted with putting turf tape on people which i know is small but it makes me happy even seeing a little window of what my future could be like
